Since Homo sapiens migrated out of Africa, humanity has been on the move. Award-winning investigative journalist, author & filmmaker Abrahm Lustgarten's new book On the Move explains how global change is redrawing our map of the world.  He provides a clear-eyed view to help us make reasoned decisions about our fear-addled situation. Abrahm will be joined by beloved, best-selling local author Obi Kaufmann has gifted us with yet another beautiful and insightful book, The State of Fire:  Why California Burns – replete with his signature watercolor maps & images. Fire is an essential part of California ecology, shaping our landscape for thousands of years.  Better understanding our home state and ecosystem will help us figure out how to continue living here, if that's what we choose to do. Both esteemed writers will be in conversation with author Mary Ellen Hannibal (Citizen Scientist/The Spine of the Continent)
